Grass between the docks,
river at your bow
Our slips line the scenic banks of the Grand River, minutes from open Lake Erie — with greenspace, water, and electricity at every dock.
A dock that feels like a backyard
FHYC’s docks are famous among members for their greenspace — grassy, tree-lined banks between the piers where families set up chairs, kids play, and dock neighbors become lifelong friends.
- Water and electricity at all docks
- Ample water depth
- Greenspace at every dock
- Close parking at the slips
- Dockage for member boats to a 15′ beam
- Mainland and Island dock areas
Dockage is reserved for members. Curious what it takes to join? Start here.
Lift-in, lift-out — all in-house
The club runs its own travel lift, wet well, and boat ramp, handling boats up to 12′ wide and 34′ long. Spring launch and fall haul-out happen right here, by people who know your boat.

Your boat winters here too
When the season winds down, members don’t scramble for storage. The club maintains its own cradle and trailer boat storage area on the grounds — summer and winter storage, with lift-out in the fall and launch in the spring.
- On-site cradle storage
- Trailer boat storage
- Fall haul-out, spring launch
- Ramp access for trailer boats
