Traditions
Some things don’t change
The Memorial Day flag raising. The regatta. The dock crawl our homepage has called “famous” for as long as anyone can remember — because it is. Holiday parties where three generations of the same family show up, because three generations belong.
It’s been this way since the beginning — in 1953, a flag raising opened the club’s first real clubhouse, a bare-floored Quonset hut, with a boat parade and a potluck dinner.
